One Step Closer
I've just gotten a text that Shane is calling me back for Blood Wedding. Callbacks are tomorrow night at 6. Even if I don't get in, it's nice to know that I'm not going to be immediately excluded because I'm American. They've asked that we actually prepare about one minute of a song to sing, as several characters apparently do sing a bit. I have to decide on something...I'm terrible at that.

I'm happy for you! Sing something you're really familiar with. That should narrow it down to about 2000 songs :o)

Have you sensed any unusual treatment because your an American, either positive or negative? I mean everywhere, not just the theater realm.
Sing "I'm Proud to be an American" and see what their reaction is! No....well then you come up with your own suggestions!
